This is my place. Whenever I get pizza for the office and it's my call I go with Talia's. Yesterday we were due for pizza so we got 4 pies from here. I will have to say that when we went to pickup the pizzas they weren't ready. Really not ready. We had ordered on a very popular day. There was a dozen other people waiting for their orders. It took over an hour wait. So how could I swear by Talia's? Once we got into their supreme, each and every person forgave the wait. I'm sure the beers we got helped calm the masses too. Wow, incredible. From the peppers, to the Italian sliced sausage, to the pepperoni to the chunks of fresh mushrooms, every slice was savory. The boxes were empty in record time. It's the best New York slice you can get in this part of south Florida. Don't let the wait irritate you from stopping in

I think 1 star for a place like Talia's is more than fair. Service: Horrible. They seem more concerned helping any friend or family member get situated before you. A party of 5 came through the door after me and my friends came in, and they were instantly seated and given bread and drinks. Meanwhile,no waiter even asked us what we wanted to drink, nor did we have menus. When asked what we wanted to drink, I asked for water, and the guy told me I could buy bottled water or nothing. Are you KIDDING me? I've never been to a restaurant that prohibits complimentary water. Not to mention after we got the meal, the waiter or whoever the hell he was never checked up on us once. He opted to stare at his phone or talk to the party of 5 the entire time, and would not stop laughing and bringing them drinks. Which sucked because he 1. brought out our dishes one by one and 2. he didn't give us silverware, so we had to yell at him from across the restaurant for silverware. My boyfriend got his dish 10 minutes before me. He wasn't very nice either. Food: Nothing special. I could make better pasta at my own house. I had the gluten free penne ala vodka pasta (I was told their GF options were good) and the whole dish tasted like one note, and definitely not vodka sauce. The calamari's sauce was spicy as hell, not a good compliment at all. The portion sizes are huge but I get the feeling everything is just warmed up in the kitchen before hand and not made to order, as I had full view of the kitchen and the guy stood around doing a whole lot of nothing. Also, they advertise a buffet but I didn't see it and when asked the guy laughed at me and said only on 'certain days'. How about you advertise what those days are, or don't say you're also a buffet? Just avoid this place. There's literally dozens of Italian restaurants in Boca. There's also one called your kitchen, where with chef internet recipe, you can go buy your own groceries and make a better pasta dish.

If I could give this "business" (and I use the term business very loosely) zero stars I would. Called this restaurant and ordered two chicken parm entrees and two salads. I was told to pick it up after 20 minutes. When I arrived 30 minutes later I was told the food would be ready within 5 minutes. After five minutes I saw my food being prepped to be cooked. So obviously they hadn't even started cooking my meal. After 15 minutes waiting I told the cashier that he could've just told me an error had occurred instead of wasting my time and lying to me. He then blamed the owner for taking the order and not giving it to him. Obviously there is zero communication or skill here after 16 years, as the owner later screamed at me. The restaurant is absolutely FILTHY. The menus look-at minimal, ten years old. There were no other take-out orders or phone calls. One drunken customer sat there helping himself to whatever old/flat/cheap draft beer they have that's "self serve" I asked to speak to the owner and I finally saw the issue. A morbidly obese miserable old man who knows nothing other than how to eat his profits. Which I doubt there's much left of. I expressed my frustration to this huge man who then FOLLOWED me to my car, screaming about how much he "hates Boca and this is why" As a 22 year old female at 130lbs and 5 feet tall- I do not appreciate a huge old man following me to my car and screaming at me. I should have called the police but I could not get away from this dump fast enough.

From the exterior, this place isn't super appealing. I really wanted to like it because it seems like a place with a family-type of atmosphere. While I was there, the person running the counter came out several times to sit with a table full of what seemed like his family or close friends. Definitely a warm vibe going on. Ordered the "Chopino" for 2. I'm used to cioppino being more like a seafood stew, and I like dipping crusty bread into the broth. However, the dish that came out seemed more like a mixed rice dish. It was still good, but just unexpected. The garlic bread was overdone, and had a strong raw garlic flavor on top. Dessert cannolis were good, but small. It was a decent dinner, but I don't think we'll come here again to dine it. It seems like a convenient place for takeout, however.

Boca's best kept secret. The Verde sandwich changed my life. Talk to Charlie, he is awesome!

Not the same anymore. Yes, Talia's is known for the sandwiches which are very good. The bread is something to really showcase and brag about. However, its their ingredients in their sandwiches that worry me. Everything is already precooked and then reheated for their warm sandwiches. Sometimes the hot sandwiches are great, other days it seems that I am eating meatballs / sausage from 3 days ago. Their cold cuts are not bad as those are cut fresh when you order, but then again you have no idea how old that meat really is either. I would never eat their pizza here as I think it's terrible but their pasta is not bad either as long as it's fresh and not reheated fro the fridge. Absolutely one of the best dives for an nontraditional italian sandwich, but now it seems like a hit or miss.

Not bad. They have a $10 AYCE lunch buffet that is super fast, so if you are in a time crunch this is a great spot for lunch. It's a little ghetto and definitely on the 'family style side': paper plates, Styrofoam bowls, and grab your own silverware but it had a lot of choices on it. Choices included Eggplant Tapenade, their amazing garlic rolls, gardenia salad, caesar salad, Italian salad, sliced salami, baked ziti, sausage and peppers, homemade meatballs, homemade soup (which was very good but I have no idea what to call it), and some veggies. We were in and out in 30 mins which was great.

This is a great place to go for an inexpensive lunch. I've only tried their sandwiches, but they have a buffet that looks pretty good. My co-worker had split a DaVinci with me awhile ago, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I dropped in to order a sandwich to go. I asked for recommendations, and the cashier (owner? manager?) had so many it ended up not being all that helpful. I settled on the Marconi (smoked turkey, bacon, provolone, avocado, lettuce, tomato & citrus mayo). They don't say it on their menu, but you can order a half sandwich. I highly recommend a half because the regular size is too big and it doesn't save well. I only had to wait maybe 7 minutes before my sandwich was ready. The cashier almost forgot to charge me, so I told him I had to pay. After doing so, he offered me a free beverage from the cooler on my way out. How nice! So, I drank my free bottled water and ate my sandwich at work. The sandwich did get a bit soggy near the end, but it was still quite tasty. And even the half sandwich was too big, so it was OK.

We were a party of five ordering dinner from the menu (as opposed to the ayce buffet. The appetizers came out in a reasonable amount of time but the main course took close to an hour or more. The chicken Marsala and shrimp scampi had broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots in them. The sauce on the chicken dish, not bad but on the shrimp dish could have passed for Francaise there was so much lemon in it. (Lemon? in scampi-I don't think so) The pasta Alfredo had garlic in it (lots of garlic) The workers in the place yelled across the room several times in a very loud manner. I understand the sandwiches are good here but they will not be seeing any of us again. There is no place above for zero stars; which is what I would give it. AVOID!!!!

Very unpleasant experience on a Saturday night. The proprietor seems annoyed instead of welcoming. We went there specifically for pizza and was told it was not an option. We switched gears and ordered meals. They brought me out chicken marsala, but I had ordered chicken francese. Instead if apologizing, they acted like I had a problem. They brought out the correct dish, but it was completely cold. My friends salad was also not correct, and she felt chastised instead of accommodated. We won't be back. What happened to the hospitality of a small business?

Totally Awesome the place is a sleeper, Dont pass it up because its old school pizza restaurant looking. The best part is the FOOD not to menchon to low prices for a Boca Rayon Restaurant. Snapper franchise was fresh and delicious. The mussels fra diavolo were spot on .The Silly lady who forgot why she was there [ The Food ] was all hung up on the atmosphere. Please go somewhere else and pay 3 to 4 times ad much and not get the authentic Italian specialties . YOU CANT EAT THE WALLCOVERINGS AND CHANDLER'S. HER LOSS CANT WAIT TO GO BACK

Not recommended if you have children. Went there tonight with a family of 9 ... What a horrific experience. No kids menu. Asked for the buffet which is advertised on a huge banner outside. We were told it wasn't available tonight only on select days. We ordered off very dirty and outdated menu's. They brought out the kids food first which was a simple pasta dish, sauce, and meatballs. Then we waited what seemed like an eternity as we feasted on burnt heavily loaded garlic bread. They brought the rest of our food out one by one. When asked why it took the food so long to come out, we were informed that it was cooked to order fresh, and if we wanted fast food .. We should've went to McDonalds. Talk about RUDE! We would've been better off going to McDonalds. The bathroom was a disgusting, smelly pit of a facility. The kicker was watching three employees proceed out of Talia's and start arguing out in the parking lot. An older gentleman in a blue shirt and shorts kept yelling about being called a piece of Sh!t ... Talk about a hostile Environment, especially with kids around. We will not be returning here and can not recommend this to anyone.

Had the seafood risotto here and it was delicious. Staff was so kind and hospitable despite us coming in half an hour before closing (yes I still feel guilty about that). Will definitely be coming back to try out the sandwiches and maybe order the risotto again.

First time attending this restaurant, and I had to wait 45 minutes until my pizza came out. Once it did it wasn't even that good. Extremely disappointed by the lack of good service, sanitation conditions and overall quality of the food. Would not recommend this restaurant to anybody.

I can not comment on the food because I walked out shortly after arriving. I did not like the atmosphere. There was so much junk in the dark restaurant and the kitchen didn't appear clean from the order counter. The menus look old and there was a buffet with a paper sign hanging above it... completely disorganized and unappealing.

I will never return to this place. I ordered a slice of sicilian pizza. What they gave me was this frankenstein looking "slice" made out of their ciabatta bread. It was completely soggy and did not taste like pizza at all. I just wanted to dropkick the "slice".

5 for the food, which was fantastic and the portions were quite large. Great garlic bread, risotto was cooked perfectly, and the saltimboca was tasty. 1 for everything else, unfortunately.

I was researching a place for Gluten-free pizza and came across Talia's. I was trying to call this place a few times on Friday but the call would not go thru. So, I noticed an email address on the website and decided to give it a shot. Since I was a little impatient I decided to call them again just incase.. and finally the call when thru. I ordered: 1- gluten free cheese pizza 1- gluten free peperoni pizza and the penne, rabe and sausage pasta (never tried this before but I figured it would be good) My ordered was ready in 20mins. When I arrived to pick it up I loved the décor of the place. It felt very homey. I am assuming the gentleman that helped me was the owner. He asked me if I had emailed him as well with my order (at least now I know that if the phone doesn't work I can always place an order via email.) My order was ready right away. He even let me try fresh mozzarella cheese. I was soooo good! When I arrived home the pizzas were delicious. Gluten free pizzas are very thin and small. I love that they taste like flat bread pizzas. I will definitely order pizzas from here more often. As for the pasta... Not a fan. I had never tried rabe and I wasn't a fan. It was too strong for me. I will order spaghetti or the sausage and peppers next time. Over all, I love this place. I will be back again!!

Horrible service. We were a starving group of three friends, we got negatively greeted by a fat white-hair guy who doesn't look like as a waiter at all and was so mean ("My name is Frank just to help you when you write the review and I don't give a sh*t about what you write out there" he said..) I am so amazed how mean someone is working at a business like that!! We were no longer hungry because of him made us upset. The rating is just for the food which was less than Ok.

Went in with a Groupon to try it. They ignored us. PS...kind of dirty, the room was hot, and there were flies all around.I traveled many small Italian dives in Southern Italy back in the 1980s - I suppose they were going for the authentic experience. That was fine when there was NO place else to eat - but it doesn't cut it in Boca Raton in 2014. We walked out.

Like most people I have eaten at hundreds of pizza joints in my time. Well it is a feat to say that this was the worst pizza I have ever had. It started with a dough that was worse than any frozen pizza. Flat with no crust. How is this possible? I doubt it was made on site. Then the sauce, tasted like it was out of a jar and that is being kind to jarred tomato sauce. The cheese congealed quickly which told me it was cheap and probably imitation. I cannot comment on the buffet that was being served or the subs which have gotten ok reviews. JUST STAY AWAY FROM ORDERING PIZZA

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Gross demeanor, terrible food, terrible ownership, and a super slow kitchen. Went with multiple people and not only was the food bad but the orders were not correct and the owner did nothing to make matters right. Terrible business man, destined for failure from his attitude and poor food.

Dirty, unappetizing inside. Ordered over phone for pickup, they hadn't even started making the items until after we got there (when it was supposed to be ready). Watched them make my Rigitoni ala Vodka: scoup red sauce from big kettle into frying pan, add cream and butter, scoup pasta sitting on warm water from big kettle toss into same frying pan, heat up, serve. My wife's pasta and meatballs, same pasta kettle and red sauce into frying pan, wait for meatballs to come from other side of kitchen (not sure from where) heat and serve. We took a few bites from each and threw them away, the pasta was soggy and mushy, the sauces were terrible. Eat here at your own risk.

This place is awesome. The sandwiches are amazing, I always bring half home, just to savor it longer. And of course the beer keg is also really great. Its nice to go to a place like this where everything legit feels casual and personal. Definitely worth trying.

I ask for a slice of pizza too a long tome but when i got it it was so so thin and greasy and the sauce was still lukewarm but what made the deal breaker is i swear i got sick after eating it next morning running rose

I have been coming here for years. I have had short stint of working in Miami so I have not been here nearly enough. My new job is in the area so I suggested it to my coworkers on our next lunch outing. It appears there is new ownership and they've expanded into the next storefront. I will admit that I was a little hesitant. Could it be as good as it was? Hell yeah! We stuck to the basics and for Talia's that SANDWICHES. They did not disappoint. The Godfather, the Pavarotti, the Michealangelo...all of them just as good as I remembered. My coworkers loved it. I was the hero (sandwich) of the day. Now the pressure to recommend another good lunch joint....

I ate lunch there today and I used a gift certificate from restaurants.com The gift certificate was for $10 and you have to spend $20 to use it, and I did. The problem is that they charge you more when you use a gift certificate. The menu clearly states that the drinks are included. But, when I presented the gift certificate, she added an extra $4.38 to the bill. I've been eating there for over 10 years and was never charged for the beverage(because it is included). Quote from the menu "FREE DRINK with Any Lunch In House". Clearly they want the benefit of the marketing through Restaurant.com and don't want to incur the cost of that marketing. Baba, you just lost a long time customer.

The Baked Ziti was soupy. I have yet to find a restaurant in Florida that actually has cheese---RICOTTA cheese mixed in so the ziti just isn't pasta in sauce!!!! I can stay home for pasta and sauce!!!!! The other meal in my party was ok...no complaints other than her ziti was soupy. The owner (I think) was just barking orders at a Mexican looking guy making the meals. I didn't like that.....The AC was off, it was kinda hot in there. It was a cool day but when you're eating hot food, it was a uncomfortable. I would go back and try the sandwiches and pizza. I will chalk this one up to just a bad day, all places have them.

Just recently had a visit here. Haven't been here in about 2 years. Wow this place had gone downhill. I ordered the Marco Polo as I have in the past and it was soggy and not good at all. Don't know why but it's not the same.....

We ordered delivery service & the pasta dishes were in messy containers, it looks like everything was thrown in & rushed. Totally disappointed with quality. There were pieces of garlic bread in a brown bag that was soaked in grease. Overpriced & will never order from here again.

Food was great, but when I called to ask a quick question as to why my bill was $3 higher than I expected the person that answered my call was very rude. They need to update their website to reflect current prices as well as disclose their delivery charge. Won't make this mistake again.

The fish tacos are not really tacos, more like wraps. But they are really good. It is a little pricey for $10 but you get a ton of fresh fish. We got the snapper cause they were out of softshell crab. For $10 the subs seem pricey but they are enough for 2 people to split. We got the michelangelo and it was pretty good. I actually liked the taco more though.

G-d awful food that honestly was NOT edible. We had a $10 restaurant.com coupon and still felt fleeced because we had to leave two huge mounds of slop on our plates. The eggplant parm was mushy cardboard and the chicken francaise was so bad I would not feed it to a dog. Both dishes came with spaghetti drowned in a thick tart sauce that convinced us to pay the check and immediately leave. One of the worst dining experiences we have ever had.

My fiance bought a Groupon for us to attend a "cooking class with wine pairing" at Talia's Tuscan Table. Because of the high quantity of Groupons sold, it took quite some time for us to actually get in for our class. But it was worth the wait. Our class had about 20 "students" and was pretty informal. The instructor is Chef Baba, who owns and operates the place. He's great! Upon arrival, we were presented some printed lists of the items we would be preparing (ie: Bruschetta) and everyone gathered together in the kitchen to help cook. We were given samples of some wine, and everything we ate was delicious, especially the Pasta e Fagioli soup! There were even leftovers for us to take home. The whole event was about 4 hours and was a fun date night! I hope we can come back for the "Diner's-Drive-Ins-andDives" block party!

Not fancy, not overly indulging......but a great meal at a great price. What more do you want? If you are expecting to get your ass wiped, forget about it. Take a menu, order, sit down and once and awhile, Frankie might stop by to check on you. In the meantime, you will get the best Italian food in the area at the best price. And if you are not a dumbass, you might make a friend or two. Because that is who hangs here....good people from up north. They took to my southern self like white on rice. Will come back in here for sure once we are in town again. My boys (tennis players) loved meeting Frankie and his buddy who also liked tennis. We came on a Sat night and my only disappointment is that we couldn't come back the next night because they were closed. Otherwise, we would have. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!! No frills but the food is extraordinary!

I can always go for some good old homemade Italian food, so today my friend and I tried Talia's Tuscan Table for the first time. Upon entering Talia's, we noticed that the entire place was covered in American-Italian decor. The walls are painted to resemble the Italian flag, many mafia signs hanging on the wall, salami hanging from the ceiling etc... Just plain weird. I must say that the interior is poorly designed, and unwelcoming to say the least. We then peered back into the kitchen only to see stacks of filthy pans and cooking equipment. It looked really dirty back there and unmaintained. Anyway, we both ordered subs and decided to give this place a chance. I asked for the herby chicken cutlet and mozzarella sub and my friend ordered "The Bronxer" lolol. The bread was the right combination of crunchy and warm, my chicken was a little dry but really savory. The red sauce saved the chicken though, it enhanced the flavor tremendously by giving it some moisture. The cheese was perfectly melted over the chicken, I really enjoyed it. Overall this place is worth a visit only if old, creepy Italian dining rooms dont freak you out lol.

My favorite place in Boca, or pretty much all of South Florida. The sandwiches are the way to go. Big enough for 2 or for some yummy leftovers. The Michelangelo is my absolute favorite - chicken cutlet, eggplant, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, you can't go wrong! And their bread is amazingly delicious too. The owners and chef are super sweet and get to know you when you're a regular like me. If you're not in the mood for a sandwich, I recommend the buffet which always has great stuff on it or the sicilian pizza which is great.

Talia's was AMAZING!!! It's the quality of a fancy restaurant in a cute, comfortable atmosphere for a ridiculously good price! The owner Frank is a great guy and old school New Yorker who brings his own authenticity to the place. You can't go wrong here. Definitely give it a try!!!

Are you tired of the pretentious S.FL attitude and overrated food at your local pizza joint? Then try Talia's! Drop the attitude and machismo at the door and be nice for once. I mean it. Be nice or get out. And yeah, they have a bazillion trinkets and knick knacks hanging on virtually every inch of the place. Aren't you tired of being a judgmental prick like every other South Floridian down here? I said drop the attitude! Now.... Get ready for some awesome food and service. I suggest you go with one of their fabulous sandwiches if it's your first time. Believe me, they are all great. The Pavarotti, Michelangelo, Bronx Bomber, Botacelli... All of them are so full of flavor and fresh ingredients. The bread itself is so good. Order your food, grab a plastic cup over to your left and pour yourself a beer or soda. It's the honor system here. Relax! You're with good people! You're home! Now go sit down and wait for your food; take it all in as you sip on your drink. I suggest you sit up against the wall with all the polaroids. You get a good view of the kitchen, the flyers, the funny signs, and the customers that walk in. You'll soon realize that these people really love what they do. Oh man, that first bite is going to taste so good. You're welcome! I also recommend the pizza with sausage, onions, and peppers. So good that you'll ask yourself "How come I've never heard of this place??!!"

UPDATE: Talias is local and a couple of co-workers wanted to eat here so I took a deep breath and dove back in. I avoided the buffet and asked the owner what he suggested. I've made mistakes. I've mad poor choices. The buffet was one.... The owner suggested a Godfather sandwich. My coworker had an Italian Jew. Every restaurant has its strengths and weaknesses the TRUE strength of Talia's is the array of sandwiches. HOLY COW. Roasted red peppers, chicken cutlet provolone and mozzarella. WOW this is my go to lunch meal now. I dont know if i'll ever come around to the buffet although the day i was there the owners wife does provide samples of meatballs while customers wait in line. I just think I will stick to what talia's doest best. Lunch time Sandwiches.

You wouldn't know it to walk in but this little gem with it's cheesy mid-town pizzeria decor is right up your alley if you want home style Italian cooking and real super thin crust NY pizza! I had the risotto with Portobello and yes their own homemade sausage. My husband had the " Michelangelo" sandwich. Huge portions and absolutely DELICIOUS! Frankie the owner is a real charm. Give this place a try but leave your Boca attitude at the door. You won't regret it! Oh... and shhhh don't tell too many people. We'd like to keep this little gem our secret!

Okay this is a bit of a bi-polar review. Really a 3.5+, but I admit I have a bit of a soft spot for this place. First, I have used to here all the time when I worked right around the corner, however it has been a while since I have been back here. Those things that have not changed, such as the top notch tasty sandwiches wedged between nice and hearty Tuscan bread are still as delicious as ever. The same sassy service reminds of New York, the fantastic soup and delicious pasta. So why only 3.5 instead of 4 stars? Of all things, the pizza was well...not up to par. Maybe, in contrast to all the other food (which is delicious) the pizza was so disappointing. The crusts taste and texture was almost a "Boboli" or pre made dough and the cheese was way too salty. That being said, come here for amazing sandwiches and pasta....just don't bother with the pizza.

I ate here a few years ago. I remember the food being decent, but the atmosphere was weird. Fast forward 4 years, and I decided to grab pizza and a salad from Talia's. PROS: -Parking is abundant. -The owner seems like a decent guy who has a following, with the way he knows almost everyone who comes through the door. -The place has a cozy style with random disclaimers, misc photos, and the Godfather movie playing on a continuous loop. CONS: -The atmosphere is still odd. It's a really cluttered place. I don't mind chotchkies, but it seems that any free wall space is covered with customer Polaroids, Italian-themed signs, slogans, and hand-written declaimers. -There's this weird shrimp restaurant that looks like it was attached to Talia's at one point. It appears that the shrimp restaurant failed, and Talia's took the additional space. Unfortunately, the nautical-themed décor hasn't been removed. It's strange to eat Italian in a place with blue walls and ocean motif. -My pizza wasn't stellar, and lacked crust. I can only describe it as something you'd get at a Chuck E Cheese. -The salad super salty for some reason. It didn't bother me, but my wife passed on it. -The place is really cluttered. Some may enjoy the scattered, hodge podge decor, and some may think it appears dirty. -The owner is a Jets fan. This is just my .02. I know many who like this place, and swear by Talia's. Once again, I had a pizza and salad from them. Maybe they do a better Italian entree, than pizza? In any event, this was my experience. Consider it among the other reviews posted here.

We drove 40 minutes to meet friends here to eat. We got to the restaurant at 8:15. The restaurant turned us away because they wanted to shut down for the night. It's clearly posted that they are supposed to be open till 9:30. Never coming here again.

Paid $15 for the Worst pizza ever! Tasted like frozen pizza cardboard. Waited 45 minutes for pizza to come out of oven. So disappointed! Zero star

Chef Andy is gone....and so is the service and food. Was there over the weekend and ordered a 16" pizza and a Michelangelo sandwich (been ordering and eating from here for over 8 years).it took about 45 mins (i was giving the new owners a break so i didnt make a bid deal about it) The sandwich was not that bad except some of the fixings being abnormally cold and the bread a lil burnt. The Pizza was a whole diff story it was severely dry, burnt and completely tasteless. I took the pizza to the lady upfront who i believe is the new owner, she really didn't try to fix the situation or care if the pizza tasted like cardboard. I was not in the mood to argue and all that so I told her i was really disappointed and that chef Andy would never treat his customers this way.....asked and paid my check right away grabbed my Polaroid photo from the wall from 7 years ago and left the nasty Pizza for her.....dnt think ill be coming back.....this place has been a hidden gem in Boca for so long...really sad to say goodbye.

My girlfriend wanted to take Chef Andy's (also owner) cooking class via groupon. The class covered a wide range of cooking techniques from the very basics to way over my head. The foodies in the class seemed to enjoy the advanced stuff, while the rest of us def learned to up our cooking in major ways. He showed us how to streamline the cooking process while simultaneously increasing quality. Chef Andy was tremendous. He's certainly Italian and has that fun attitude to match. He was so friendly, but there's no doubt he's the King of Talia's. It's clear he keeps his business life at full capacity and as a fellow small business owner I appreciate the effort and commitment that requires. If you want waiters and unmatched service, go to a nice sit down place. If you want wonderful food at unmatched prices, go to Talia's. And $1 self serve Miller Lites, why didn't I know about this when I went to FAU?!

Talia's gives you a lot for your money. The subs start at $10 a pop but they're really enough for two people. The pizza, well let's just skip that part. For years Talia was a little hidden gem that grew by locals giving spreading the word, especially in the workplace. Since then, it has blossomed on all fronts. It has adjusted to appeal to just about everyone using good marketing, witty humor, social media and of course more of that word of mouth. They're friendly there, but you could easily be overwhelmed if you're not familiar with these kind of places. A big menu, a bunch of sarcastic signs on the wall and of course Godfather or Goodfellas playing in the back drop. By the way, that whole thing is such a cliche these days in Italian restaurants. If you're hungry and looking for a real-deal Italian sandwich it is a great option. The things I don't love about this place is how sometimes it doesn't always look so clean inside. It's too cluttered now with that Shrimp Shack they opened up inside. To be perfectly honesty, it takes away from Talia. I like places that know their role. They don't stray from their roots and never loose sight of what made people come to them in the first place. The whole place looks like Sanford & Son inside and even though it doesn't change taste of their food, I hesitate to come here sometimes because of that. Less is more in this case. To me, it's not that appetizing to see a seafood buffet just two feet away from your table when you're there eating your Bronx Bomber. East Boca has a lot of decent sub options like V&S, 620, Laspadas and of course Talia's. On most days you can't go wrong with what you choose but the day you're feeling like you could eat a cow, Talia's is the go-to spot.

This is the place where Italians go to eat! The food is consistently delicious - just like mama used to make!!! Plus the business is very friendly and family oriented. It is one of the best kept secrets in Boca - not for long though!!! They bake the garlic Ciabatta and make fresh brushetta on site! Must try the Michael Angelo sandwich (they make their own sausage) and the pesto risotto!

Being from Boston, walking in and seeing Yankees paraphernalia made me skeptical but my coworkers assured me it was a great place to eat. I've been dining there since - and that was five years ago. Chef offers me a sample of his fresh made mozzarella when I step up to order, and then they get to work making masterful creations. My favorite - the uber thin crust pizza with pesto & prosciutto that I get most of the time. Their sandwiches are enormous and so tasty too. Always very generous portions. I can't recommend it enough! Enjoy!

Our company did a very big delivery from them- salads were great- but main course-- 2 different pasta and chicken-- flavors were very good -BUT the food was seriously over laden with that cheap chopped - in the jar- garlic-not even really cooked in the sauces, they must of thrown it in at the last min,- made many people complain about to much garlic -- please please use fresh garlic, sliced thin and sauteed first- in italy they dont use that junk chopped garlic in the jar-, most of it comes from china and has tons of preservatives in it to

This place uses some of the freshest ingredients in their sandwiches around in the South FL. area. One of the best things I have ever tasted at my life though comes from this place and that is their ever so delicious meatball bomber they make. The meatballs and sauce are homemade and it is unbelievable and then they toast it on their home made rustic delicious bread they also make homemade their and then toast it with the parmesan cheese all melted on top, and I do not even like cheese on most things, but this was epic. I have had my fair share of meatball bombers as well home made or not over the years, but Talia's hands down blew all of them away by miles, it was that good!! They NY style pizza and delicious homemade crust along with their chicken french which I also had there was really, really good, and definitely worth the price even though you are in Boca. Definitely check this place out for a great lunch or dinner meal if you are a local or a beach toting tourist. You will NOT be disappointed!!

I walked in here at about 2 pm on a weekday, saw that most of the tables were dirty, nobody else in the place. and noticed a bland looking buffet in the other room. Finally found the menu on the wall, among a lot of other crap.... Everything was $10+, which seemed really high....$10 for a panini???? That better be one huge, awesome panini !!! Highly doubt it...... Nobody was around to greet me, no idea where everybody was..... I walked out, and drove down to Kiki's Chinese, which is always consistently good....

Talias = Boca's hidden gem. I have been eating at Talias for about 5 years now. Never in my life have I enjoyed an eatery as much as I have Talias. Recommended by a buddy in college my sophomore year, I decided to give this place a shot. Since my first experience, a full month hasnt gone by without getting my hands on one of their JUMBO sandwiches. My favorite is the Marco Polo, decked with chicken, greens, tomatoes, and my favorite, apples and Gorgonzola cheese. WARNING: with great size also comes great flavor. Another great perk is their $1 beers. All the time, any time. I dont know any other establishment that allows their patrons to serve themselves fresh out of the keg beer. for ONE DOLLAR!?! I'd like to finish my review by giving a shout out to Andy, the main man around Talias. With Andy, there is never a dull moment. I have an immense amount of respect for this man. Ever since my first visit, he greets me by phone or in person screaming out my name, "TYLER!!!" His friendly, energetic vibe makes anyone he encounters feel like a million bucks. The fact that he backs his enthusiasm up with delicious food makes me give this place an A+.... Go try Talia's, and, SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!

The owner is a complete jerk. The food is ok but certainly not good enough for the side of prima donna attitude that comes with it. I know multiple people that have gotten into it with this guy. I'll say two things that stand out most: 1. Just because I walk in with someone does not mean that you can take it upon yourself to run our checks on the same credit card and tell us to "settle it up ourselves". I tell you how I'm paying and not the other way around. 2. If I order Pasta Fagioli soup I expect to find pasta in it NOT RICE! I don't want to hear your obnoxious spiel about how you went to such and such culinary school and that it's arborio rice. Rice is rice idiot, not pasta! You know there's a #3 that's just too good to leave out. If hair is one of the ingredients in your salad's, atleast do us the courtesy of mentioning in the description on the menu... not that this guy ever sticks to that. He randomly makes the meals however he feels at the moment. I should really be able to put no stars

Was on vacation in town for a week and found this place on Groupon. First impression aesthetically speaking was poor. I didn't do much research before purchasing the groupon and I suppose i was expecting more of a white table linens sort of Italian experience. I immediately became skeptical as I pulled in to the strip mall and walking in, It looked like a takeout pizza place. Yet, my dining partner convinced me to at least sit down and look at a menu. Giant glasses of house wine were conveniently priced at $5 and the manager Frankie, a convincing New York charmer made us feel warm and welcome. The antipasto had typical fixings but was HUGE and the sauces on this plate were incredibly flavorful. Feeling like indulging, we ordered the chicken fettuccini alfredo and that's where we decided we had stumbled inadvertently on foodie heaven. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce amazingly rich and creamy. One serving fed us both once and a half! We tried the cannolis for dessert. Crispy shells had been hand-filled with sweet, rich chocolate chip custard- yum! I will recommend this place highly for the excellent quality food and may come back to Boca just to eat here again.

Why did I change my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars? Let me first say this: I still really like this place, a lot! Now for the reason I've taken away a star(for now) is because the last time I went there the Bronx Bomer went from this HUGE sandwich to basically a regular good sized one. I know probably about 18 of my friends who go there and they've been telling me and I always say "yeah right" ... well they were right, the sandwiches came out much smaller than what I'm used to. Granted I have been in over a year, but a staple should always remain a staple.

Got the penne a la vodka and the lasagna and it came with only 1 small piece of bread. Everything was bland and watery. The guy gave me a piece of mozzarella and prosciutto while I waited for my take out which was really nice. I saw some mussels and seafood going out of the kitchen which looked good. I'll try their subs and seafood next time but I'm done with their pastas.

I went here for lunch today and was very pleased! I am Gluten Free and did a search for places that had Gluten Free pasta. This little place popped up and I am very glad! The guy that took our order was so sweet and was very helpful with the GF options. The atmosphere was fun and laid back. The food was amazing!!! I will definitely go back!

This will be a shorter review only because I have very little to say in the negative. The food is great.! It's not three star or even two star dining; it's one notch up from sitting down in a deli, but oh so worth the trip! You order at the counter, you grab a beer and wait for them to yell out your name then grab your food, some fresh artisan bread, dig in and enjoy. The place is friendly, beer is self serve on tap for $1, and I guarantee you will find yourself coming back again and again as most of their patrons do. The sandwiches are all $10 each so you might say they are a bit on the pricey side, but considering you can have a "Verde" - chicken cutlet with prosciutto, marinara, spinach and cheese on home made artisan bread served up in a portion large enough for two speaks volumes of their value. (They sell huge loaves of their bread to go for $5). My sandwich on Saturday weighed about three pounds - I had the second half for dinner. They usually shoot a free beverage or two at you and offer you hunks of fresh cheese as you order at the counter. There are many other offerings and much of the standard Italian fare that you would expect at a pseudo-restaurant... and some you wouldn't - like cooking classes on sunday, or handmade lobster ravioli for, yes...$10.00! Recently they opened Baba's shrimp shack which is a creole/seafood/fish fry restaurant that is connected to Talia's (you access it from inside of Talia's). There too, you will find great food, very, very reasonably priced. There's not much to say on this one - I suppose I wish it were fancier, I wish there were servers - I wish a lot of things including peace on earth and Le Bernardin to have buy one get one free dinner coupons. Realistically, Talia's shouldn't change a thing. The premise is simple, no frills, great good, reasonable prices, friendly, local atmosphere and clean up after yourself. It's worth your time- I promise. Capice!

After my "not so hot" review of Talia's Tuscan Table, David M., a nice guy who works at Talia's sent me an e-mail offering to send a certificate for a complimentary meal in lieu of the first meal to make up for the dissatisfaction. For that, I am going to give this updated review 3 stars of Talia's because that is true hospitality that I can appreciate and applaud because I am in the biz and would like to thank him for that kind gesture. I noticed soon after my review went up, I noticed that a few "5-star" posts went up that called out several other negative reviews that Talia's has received. Being that my post was in response to my first time ever eating at this eatery, I wasn't aware that my sandwich was going to be toasted in a 400 degree oven. In the case that it was, the way the oven cooked the prosciutto, essentially, did not taste good when other elements of the sandwich were missing; according to the description of the "Pavarotti": mozzarella, sundried tomatoes, and arugala. I stand by my disappointment of eating sandwich missing key ingredients and when they were asked to be replaced, said ingredients weren't "toasted" in the oven either and so the whole sandwich was never properly made to begin with. The "Colombus" sandwich I ordered was put together just fine, but my only complaint was the texture of the peppered roast beef which my friend looked at and also agreed it looked, felt, and tasted texturally unsound. In defence of Talia's, my friend had a sandwich, the name of which escapes my memory, but she was quite happy with hers and so at least somebody was happy at lunch. Being in the biz, I get that sometimes the kitchen has good days and bad days. I currently work at a restaurant that has good reviews and bad reviews, but you don't see us making up new accounts, putting up 5 star reviews, and putting down other patrons for their honest opinions. I only state this because a few of the yelpers that did post reviews days after mine went up have only been yelping since January 2012 and on top of that, they only have one review - for Talia's appropriately - and have nothing but super fantastic OMG things to say but nothing definitively specific about a particular experience. I joke about the self service at Talia's but I have nothing against it, in fact I find it quite cool. In the end, Yelp is here to help hungry or helpless people find cool places to eat or places for services based on reviews & ratings from the everyday people such as you and me. Everyone is going to either love it, like it, or hate it. All I know is that in the end, it's not cool to bash each other over a negative review even though you may love this place. In an effort to keep a high star rating for Talia's, to go about it in the fashion that certain yelpers that may or may not work or be related to the Talia's namesake is not nice and I was happy enough with David M.'s offer of a meal on them, but not I am so discouraged that I may not ever come back. If you want to try Talia's for yourself, I say go and give them a shot because you never know what you're missing out on, but this yelper has just been rubbed the wrong way and that is all.

The Bronx Bomber is one of the best Italian sandwiches I have had the please of enjoying in this town...hands down! The space is unique and ultra-casual which I appreciate very much...please don't go here expecting 5 star service...just go! Footnote: To Ron K., I am so glad I gave your page a visit and saw that you gave Chick Fil A 5 stars. It gave me a little insight into the person that would give Talia's a negative review. Go back to the salt lick and leave Talia's to those of us that simply love good food.

This place is a hidden gem, and I only found it because of Yelp! It is a little hole-in-the-wall place. Nothing fancy, and I liked how they had The Godfather playing on the television. I don't know if it is always playing there, but it adds a little something to an Italian sandwich shop. Now, onto the sandwiches. These things were humongous! I am what you would call "a good eater" (Clean Plate Club representing!), and even I had difficulty finishing the whole thing. Moreover, it was not just quantity, but quality as well, filled with delicious Italian ingredients. If you are looking for a huge Italian-style sandwich and have time to lapse into a food coma afterwards, then you should really check out Talia's Tuscan Table. Of course, I suppose you could also take some to go instead of eating it all right then, but I always forget that option. Plus, the food is too tasty to stop until, before you know it, your body says: "Too late. Nap time." Regardless, I will definitely be going back. If I bring my pillow and blanket with me, I wonder whether they will let me take my nap right there as soon as I am done eating or make me go home first...

This is the type of place I have been looking for forever! GREAT italian comfort food. My wife and I went for the first time last friday and are gettin' ready for more tonight with more people!!! I have recommended it to every friend i have spoken to over the weekend. Bread like I have never tasted in Florida! As my wife mentioned on Facebook! "Guys you are the best !!! My husband and I came in last night for the first time, it was so good that we were at a loss for words. We already started to spread the word to our friends. "

If only the owner want such a gavvvone! read "cafone" Food is good, a little too heavy on the garlic, as are many "Italian American" joints...fun place but owner needs a trip to the Harrisburg Hot Springs, if you capice.

Love this place! The service is always friendly and the food is always delicious. The other day we tried the clam bake for two and it was absolutely amazing. It had clams, mussels, shrimp, calamari, and a lobster tail. It was only $20! They even threw in some gluten free pasta for my boyfriend when he asked, free of charge. I really enjoyed sopping up the juices with the garlic bread!! There are so many things on the menu that I can't wait to try, all at a great price.

I unfortunately had bought two Groupons to this place so I do have to go again. Whatever I saved from using the Groupon was replaced with his BS tax and gratuity. Hey Fatty, why should I tip you when I walk up when you bark out some gibberish and get the food myself from the counter????? Sheesh!!!! I have complained to Groupon. Lets see what they do about it.

This place has been "Boca's Best Kept Secret" forever and is still putting out the goods. Their sandwiches are amazing and from what I could see, their chicken and pasta dishes are very popular as well. I ordered their Michaelangelo with chicken cutlet, eggplant & fresh mozz and it was killer. And it was HUGE! I give their food a solid 4-Stars, but have to admit that service is weak and the cleanliness of the place could use quite a bit of help. I almost gave it 3-stars but want to let the rating to represent the food (and not the bathrooms) since this place isn't designed as a full-service joint anyway. Very homey, neighborhood feel and if you're a New York Yankees fan, mafioso wanna-be, then you'll be in heaven. They even have Scarface playing over... and over... and over... go figure. I've heard the chef/owner does cooking classes on Sundays and are a blast.

In the mood for a delicious made-to-order pasta dish that won't break the bank? How about an oversized sandwich whose inflated size isn't compensating for a lack of flavor? Talia's is a perfect spot to satisfy your craving for lunch or dinner. Talia's has an informal vibe, but there is a lot of substance behind its operation. Chef/Owner Andrew Bernardo has years of experience backed by a formal education in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. His knowledge paired with his type A personality, shines through in every homemade meal that comes out of his kitchen. Read More I must not tell a lie, I usually get take out (usually lunch for the office), but can tell you all about the restaurant itself. It's safe to say Talia's interior has a lot of "character." Its setup resembles a New York Deli with a mixture of booths, hi tops, and tables. Photos of frequent guests and Italian dishes are scattered along the walls. And there is no shortage of signage, whether it's announcing "Free Wi Fi" or catering services. The décor is far from "trendy" however the folks in the Boca area certainly make it a trend to come to Talia's. Now, this ain't the kinda place you should expect lots of frills from. You order at the counter, pick up your own food, get rid of your own trash, but all of this "work" is well worth it- the food is delicious. The menu is fit for Bambinos of all ages and features a huge variety of Italian favorites as well as original constructions- specifically in the sandwich department. It doesn't matter what creative compilation of ingredients Chef Andy puts between the gigantic hunk of Ciabatta, they are all great (my go-to is the Marco Polo). It's the bread that keeps me coming back, but I can tell you that Talia's has quite a following and everyone's got their own favorites from the homemade Pasta Fagioli to the Gourmet Pastas. Every ingredient is fresh, especially the homemade mozzarella (Chef Andy will be happy to give you a taste), and each dish is made with the most important ingredient, love. The passion that Chef Andy has for food is infectious and can be experienced hands on during the cooking classes offered at Talia's. I look forward to attending one in the near future! Next time you find yourself heading to East Boca, skip the yuppy eatieries and grab yourself one of Talia's 50 dishes for under $12. Couple that with a $1 draft beer and you have meal for under 15 bucks. Not too shabby! If that's not cheap enough for you, mention "Flavor Appraiser" and get 20% off anytime!

"Boca's Best Kept Secret" -- claims the sign in front of the register. I'd have to agree. Driven past here nearly a dozen times and never realized it even existed. Newspaper clippings, various framed awards, and faded b&w photos of the family give this place an authentic, NY-deli feel. Along with the owner who drawled, "What can I get you today, sweetheart?" in his ultra-thick Brooklyn accent. They aren't kidding when they suggest you eat with both hands, armed with enough napkins to demolish a small forest. I got sauce all over my new pale pink dress shirt, but I hardly paused to notice it before continuing wolfing down the sandwich. The ciabatta had an extremely hard shell which scraped up the roof of my mouth, but I kept eating anyway. The only minus is that my sandwich was so salty I had to stop by McDonalds to get a super size sweet tea afterward, but that's what I get for ordering proscuitto, I guess.

If you are thinking of going here DONT! Pick another place ....The sicilian pizza was burnt and just a greasy mess! the chicken parm sandwich I swear was the cat out back. Talia's is the most amazing Italian food I've ever had, especially their sandwiches! Everything is super fresh, and FULL of flavor. The people writing about the "attitude" they get from the owner - are snobs themselves. Sure, there's a good old Italian attitude that comes with their cooking, because they know what they're doing! And they are just as much warm and friendly. I literally go there almost every day and am always sad when I realize it's Sunday and they're closed. GO EAT HERE! You will not be disappointed!!

This is the place you've driven by a million times, but never knew it was there. Then a friend takes you there for lunch, and you are filled with mixed emotions: REGRET that you've wasted so many past meals on other, less-worthy places, SATISFACTION with the knowledge that you can come back everyday if you wanted to, and GRATITUDE both for this place existing, and to your amazing friend, who you will be indebted to for the rest of your life. (Maybe you could take them to the Whale's Rib in return.) When you walk into this place and make eye contact with the other patrons, they acknowledge you as if you are members of some secret society that has been honored with the coveted location of this restaurant. (Or maybe it's just me.) Simply, GO there. Walk in. Order a sandwich. Sit down. Your life will never be the same.

Normally my rating would be at least 4 stars but our last visit on Thursday, 3/8/12 left the two of us incredibly disappointed and surprised. The biggest issue we had was that the meatballs were terrible. Nothing but mush with no flavor which was contrary to all prior visits. Our other dish was the a chicken francese which was nothing special. We actually threw away 90% of the meatball parm sandwich. I hope this was a freak occurrence. Either way it will sadly be a while before we try again.

This place is not fancy, and the sign on the wall tells you that. The food however is authentic and so good. You can see the fresh ingredients in the kitchen and they'll customize your order to your liking even making tasty suggestions to fine tune your meal. $1 pour your own draft beers are pretty unique as is the home made mozzarella. This is a great family owned and operated business.

Great Italian food place!!! Thats how i would describe this restaurant. Otherwise its just a small little self service eatery located in a very uncharming plaza filled up with wooden chairs and table and tv's showing mob movies!!! But the food is authentic, fresh and cooked to perfection. Pastas, and risottos are all delicious and some of the best sandwiches are made in this restaurant. Places like jersey mike , subway and jimmy johns will be at shame with the quality and the size of the sandwiches and they definitely are a must have. I must say that I am a great fan of a well cooked risotto and this place never disappoints. The food truly is just too good at Talia's. Try the putanesca , arrabiatta or carbonara sauces just to know the differance between a traditional & classical Italian sauce than the ones which are served in the so called Italian chain restaurants (don't need to name them!!!) The chef/owner is a very helpful person when it comes to customizing your order and has great knowledge in culinary culture. He also conducts cooking classes during last sunday's of every month. A very enjoyable personality who has a great sense of hospitality and the same behavior reflects in his staff also. In this day and century, where we have cooking shows in almost every tv channel and people are so inquisitive about cuisines, restaurants like Talia's seem to be the perfect fit. A small hole in the wall place where the food is the star and once you eat over here, in the back of your mind you are going to curse yourself for spending all those dollars all your life on places like Olive Garden!!!!!!

As soon as you walk in this place the smell hits you, and that smell is, amazing! I love all the signs that pretty much remind you of the soup Nazi on Seinfeld: "this ain't burger king. you can't get it your way. it's my way or no way." It can be intimidating if you don't "get it", but they are pretty nice people overall. I've tried a lot of their sandwiches and have never been disappointed. The flavors they pair with each item (meat/cheese/sauce) compliments each other faily well and I haven't had to make my normal adjustments I do @ other eateries. Fair warning though, their sandwiches are HUGE and it can get messy. Haven't tried their pasta yet, but it's next on my list. I'm sure they won't disappoint me. Yes, you have to get in line to order your food, there is no waitstaff to serve you, and if you eat in, you'll probably have to buss your own table... but that's the character of this place. If you can't get over that, then you're too uptight and don't deserve to eat here, but you are missing out on some GREAT food, and this is what you're here for, right?

Amazing! It's a little hole in the wall in an unassuming shopping center in East Boca. I remember when it first opened thinking it had an interesting name for an Italian place. Many years later I finally tried it and it did not disappoint. Go there with an empty stomach and be ready to pig out.

Talia's food is great. My family definitely has our favorites, and the owner and his assistant chef know our preferences and remember them. The risotto is amazing, the penne arrabiata is yummy and spicy, the soup is delicious even in hot Florida. The arborio rice it's made with is a wonderful change from the penne or elbows so many use in their soup. The sandwiches are HUGE and tasty. If you want table service and fancy, this place is not for you. If you want delicious food, prepared with passion, a friendly casual atmosphere, and great prices, this is the place.

This wonderful Italian restaurant/deli is so worth finding; unlike most places these days, they do everything authentic and made from scratch, including the fresh mozzarella they make daily to give you to nibble on while you wait for your order. You can certainly find fancier places at much higher prices (this is an inexpensive, order at a counter, seat yourself, grab a soda outa the cooler or pour your own $1 beer); but you simply cannot find better food anywhere; this place is amazing!

I dont get it - I see all these great reviews and I'm perplexed. This is not a place I would ever take a date or someone I cared about. You will be eating on disposable plastic plates, you will bus your own table, you will wait in line to place your order, you will pick up your own food, your food will not come at the same time as the rest of your party, you will pressured to leave a tip even though youre not sure what for, I ordered antipasto for 2 and it was a salad for one, the food didnt look anything at all like the pictures on the screen or on the wall, the attitude of the staff is rude New Yorker, the garlic bread was good. I wont ever go back - this is not my idea of an enjoyable evening.

I was very excited about this place after reading the reviews. The atmosphere is really nice and different but the food wasn't all that. Its was very blend but the quantity was good too. Sandwich contain lots of things in it but had no taste to me. I will try the Pizza next time if i ever go.

We took the Italian cooking class on Sunday at Talia's. This was truly a taste of Italian cooking and culture; there were no measurements, just finger taste tests!! Yum! We made 5 different delicious pastas (carbonara with prosciutto was my favorite), lamb dish, chicken and sausage scarpiello, homemade tiramisu) and let's not forget the homemade red wine to sip while cooking. Deliziosa!! The food was amazing and Chef Andy is awesome! He even lets you in on some of his secrets in the kitchen. I will definitely be back!

Awesome sandwiches. Don't get me wrong they aren't the best in the service department but the food is great. Any place that plays The Godfather in the corner 34 hours a day has something special going on.

i've only eaten the sandwiches here, so my review is based strictly off that. they are all huge, and the fresh baked ciabatta bread is out of this world. the michelangelo and pavarotti are my favorites.

This place is awesome. It's closed on Sundays, so be warned. Everythings fresh and huge and cheap. You'll be quite happy if you make the trip here. It's phenominal.

Talia's is the type of establishment that you like to give your money to, unfortunately, I think I caught them at a bad time. I walked in at around 7:30 on a Monday briefly before 3 other parties arrived and I don't think they were ready for that amount of people. We placed our order of 3 sandwiches first of the 4 groups. About 20 minutes later the first two sandwiches were finally ready. It took another 10 minutes before the final sandwich was done, leaving two members of our party watching as we ate before our food got cold. Not that it was as hot as I wanted it - the meat was disconcertingly cold compared to the rest of the sandwich. In addition, the bread was very soggy and the sandwich was falling apart from the moment I first picked it up. However, I could tell the ingredients were fresh, and I may have ordered the wrong choice off the menu for my particular tastes and hot/cold preferences. All in all, I'll go back to try it again because I think we caught them at the wrong time. They had two peope behind the counter and 12 people walked in at the same time. The pizza looked really good, so I'm looking forward to trying that, and as we were leaving, they stopped us and offered a small plate of Italian desserts as a nice apology for our wait.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
